Temporary works can be one of the most critical parts of any construction project. 

It is important to engage an experienced temporary work designer (TWD) at the outset of the project to identify; where temporary works are required, the impact of temporary works on the build, and whether temporary works can be integrated into the permanent scheme. 

VEDA Associates has extensive design experience in the production of low to high-risk temporary work solutions. Most of our temporary work designs are bespoke and innovative, but we do have a number of standard designs for hoarding, scaffolds, and shallow excavations.

On temporary work schemes that impact Rail and Highway assets, our designs comply with BS5975:2008, BD2 for HA and NR/SP/CIV/003 for NR. 

Our dedicated temporary work designers are able to provide advice, design and checking services for all types of temporary works, with the option to consult our structural, rail and geotechnical teams on specific design requirements.
