Traditional foundations were specified for a large residential property VEDA designed for developer Chartwell Land & New Homes.
The ground and first floor was designed using beam and block floor construction, with traditional brick and block external leaves, supported on traditional strip footings.
The property’s kitchen – a one story building attached to the rear of the main property – was also designed using timber roof solution.
The roof was constructed using timber trusses, which were supported via isolated steelwork and load bearing masonry.
