VEDA have been appointed by Chartwell Land and New Homes to act as consulting Structural and Civil Engineers for the detailed design stage of a new luxury development in Edenbridge, Surrey.
The property is formed from traditional brick and block external leaves, supported via traditional strip footings, situated within the underlying clay strata. The uppers floors are constructed of timber with isolated steelwork, supported via masonry load bearing wall.
Large clear spans at roof level, necessitated the need for a cranked steel frame, forming a 3D skeletal frame.
